Get My Custom PDLC QuoteFactors That Affect PDLC Glass Cost
PDLC film pricing is project-specific. Here are the key variables our specialists use to determine your quote.
Total Square Footage
The largest cost driver. PDLC film is priced per square foot. Larger orders receive volume discounts — commercial projects covering hundreds of square feet benefit significantly.
Film Type
Self-adhesive retrofit film (applied to existing glass) is priced differently from factory-laminated PDLC glass units. Each serves different project requirements.
PDLC Color / Opacity
Standard PDLC film is milky white when opaque. Specialty tints including grey, black, and custom colors affect pricing. Our Stealth PDLC offers darker opacity tones.
Custom Shapes & Cuts
Standard rectangular panels ship at base pricing. Complex shapes, curved glass applications, and precision custom cutouts add fabrication cost.
Electrical Hardware
Each PDLC panel requires a transformer/driver. Multi-panel projects share transformers where possible. Integration with automation systems adds hardware cost.
Shipping & Lead Time
Standard lead time is 2–4 weeks from order. Expedited production is available. Shipping cost depends on order size and destination.
PDLC Film Pricing by Grade
Choose the grade that fits your project. Per-square-foot pricing covers the film; order online up to 50 sq ft, or request a custom quote for larger jobs and multi-panel installations.
