PDLC as a Projection Screen
One of the most unique properties of PDLC glass is its ability to double as a high-gain rear-projection screen.
In the off (opaque) state, PDLC film scatters light uniformly — creating a bright, even surface perfect for rear projecting images, videos, or presentations. The milky-white opacity acts just like a purpose-built projection screen.
Flip the switch and the projection surface disappears entirely, returning the glass to full transparency. No projector screen to roll up or hide — the display is the window.
